LOCATION

Tana Panorama.

Located just outside the town of Deatnu/Tana in Finnmark, the sub-arctic region of far northern Norway.

Tana Panorama offers a collection of stylish and secluded apartments directly overlooking the Skiippagurra rapid of the river Tana. Frozen and snow covered for 6 months of the year, the river Tana (Sami name Deatnu, meaning ‘Great River’) is famously the source of some of Europe’s biggest salmon.

The apartments are modern, self-contained, and perfect for couples, families and groups. They all offer bother privacy and panoramic views of the river, and are walking distance to local nature trails.

We can help you arrange a number of bespoke activities such as king crab fishing and dogsledding in winter, or salmon and king crab fishing in summer. And at the end of the day you can warm up in our wood-stove sauna or dine (or even sleep) in our Lávvu, the traditional Sami house, (not unlike a Tipi or Yurt), taking in the long, majestic sunsets and conditions permitting, the spectacular guovssahas, or Northern Lights.

Summer Activities:

Hiking, mountain biking, flyfishing, king crab safari, reindeer viewing, bird watching, hunting.

Winter Activities:

Fatbike cycling, dogsledding, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, reindeer herding, and snow mobile rental and tours.
